'Domestic Bliss?' wall hung arrangement of hand built and painted porcelain dishes

Taking inspiration from a childhood memory, her mothers’ collection of Limoges porcelain miniatures and love of blue and white ceramics, this assemblage of small dishes explores identity, a women’s daily thoughts and her creativity whilst trying to negotiate work, motherhood, marital and familial relationships.

 

Sometimes those apron strings can be a form of emotional bondage.
