Jacqueline McBeath is a Visual Artist working predominantly in ceramics, her practice however extends to drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and textiles

Her work is largely autobiographical taking inspiration from the everyday happenings of life, childhood memories and lived experience.  Whilst grounded in domesticity, she also investigates the connective threads of history, culture and creativity.  Jacqueline explores themes of identity, sexuality, relationships, and contemporary domestic life, often conceptually, continually through a feminist lens

Working with clay since gaining a Certificate III in ceramics in 2000, she returned to study completing a Diploma of Ceramics (2018), and an Advanced Diploma in Visual Arts (Ceramics) with Distinction in 2021.  Her practice is exhibition driven.  She shares her passion for ceramics tutoring and holding workshops at several local art centres

She is a member of both The Australian Ceramics Association  and National Association for the Visual Arts
